What is the best health insurance for someone who wants good chiropractic coverage?

I am shopping for health insurance for my family (my husband, myself, and our baby). I believe that chiropractic care is an important part of wellness, but I’m having a hard time finding a program that sufficiently covers chiropractic work. Any suggestions? Anyone have an insurance plan that has great chiropractic coverage?

That’s like asking which car has leather seats. Most carriers have some kind of coverage for chiropractic care, but not all. For instance BCBS has many plans (group or individual), but you can elect to have certain things covered (for a good premium of course). With those that DO have a chiropractic benefit, benefits will usually be limited to say 30 visits per year and are subject to a cop-payment (specialist) of $30+ for each visit. Many chiropractic clinics have out-of-pocket rates for people without insurance. Sometimes that rate is better than the co-pay, deductible, etc. you have under insurance coverage. Hope that helps.
